The quote above about dreaming and ambitions makes us so unique from all the other creatures. Overall, people are quite interesting – they are always curious and prying and this feature was responsible for the large part of discoveries and developments. If you compare the animals and humans, you will see one clear advantage and quality that animals don’t have and will never have – we fantasize, explore and discover. We look further than just our own house, we watch the horizon and we travel beyond it. If you look at animals they do the same thing over and over again, as if they were programmed to do it. They dig holes or make nests, eat and hunt for food, communicate and might do something else, but they never develop mentally. They are the same and will stay the same from generation to generation. Their nails or beaks, skin and teeth may change due to evolution process, but the development will never exceed beyond the physical.
It is said that pigs never look in the sky – they look down for food. People had been looking at the sky since the day they were created. It’s in our nature to dream and explore, to have faith in the unseen and see the unseen and unreal as it is already real. Without it Columbus would have never gotten to America. He would have stayed in Portugal, had a decent job earned some money and died without caring much about what’s on the other side of the Atlantic ocean.
People would have never gotten to see and witness so many exotic and interesting places, if they were just satisfying their primitive needs. We would have never been on the Moon and I am not even mentioning Mars. We might still be thinking that the Sun turns around the Earth which is flat and carried by four elephants or whatever creatures we may think of. Curiosity, dreams and faith make us realise the unreal things. And sometimes reading a few encouraging and funny life quotes.

Sometimes the best way of solving problems is, in fact, doing nothing and letting things carry out in the natural way. Everyone of us, I suppose, had a feeling that something is not right in our aspiration and the obstacles kept coming no matter how hard we tried. In these moments I have learned one important lesson – sometimes you have to adapt to the given conditions and be happy with what you are or have.

There is one important thing, though – you must not confuse persistence with resistance. Like I said, there are special moments when you have to let it go and there are situations when you have to push forward, no matter what. It’s, usually the intuition or your heart that tells which is right, the only thing needed is listening to it closely and obeying what is says. There might be a problem as to listening to ones heart and in that case I would recommend reading some heart – to – heart books and quotes.
